What materials are our pans made from?

Our stainless steel clad pans are 3-ply. The top layer is 18/10 stainless steel for food safety and durability. The middle layer is aluminum to enable quick and even heating. The bottom layer is 430 stainless steel to allow for induction use. The pan is 2.65mm thick. This combination provides both home and professional chefs with a lightweight, quick-heating and durable pan.

Why 3-ply?

"Ply" refers to the number of bonded layers in the cookware. Some companies claim 5-ply is better but in our experience performance depends on the quality of the materials used and the thickness-not number-of the layers. Our 3-ply stainless steel-clad aluminum core delivers a lightweight everyday pan that heats quickly, and whose durability is backed with a limited lifetime warranty

What kind of handles do the pans have?

The stainless steel handles are hollow, light, and comfortable to use. And they are securely riveted to the pan.

What should I do before first using the pan?

Remove all labels and then wash the cookware with warm, soapy water and a sponge or cloth, and dry thoroughly. Learn more on how to use our pans and care instructions.

Are your pans dishwasher safe?

We recommend hand-washing our stainless steel pans. The harsher detergents used in a dishwasher will degrade a stainless steel pan's surface finish. Nonstick cookware is not dishwasher safe.
